• Episode 3: Grounding Through Sensory Overload (Short Practice)

    This episode offers a very short gentle grounding practice specifically designed for moments of sensory overload, created with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind.

    Rather than asking listeners to “calm down” or change their internal state, this practice focuses on safety, choice, and simplicity. The language is slow, minimal, and permission-based, with clearly marked pauses to support those experiencing overwhelm, shutdown, or sensory flooding.

    Listeners are invited to orient to safety, reduce sensory input, anchor in the body without force, and offer themselves compassionate reassurance, all at their own pace.

    This practice can be used:

    • during acute sensory overload
    • in moments of shutdown or near-meltdown
    • as a short reset during an overstimulating day
    • or revisited as often as needed

    No prior meditation experience is required.
    Movement, stimming, eyes open or closed: all are welcome.

    This is not a replacement for medical or mental health care.

    It is a moment of gentleness, offered as support.

    Hello, beautiful souls and welcome to the NeuroDivine podcast which is centered around the intersection of spirituality and neurodivergence, two of my biggest passions.

    This podcast was created for several reasons, with the most relevant one being that it is my belief that neurodivergent souls come into this world at higher levels of consciousness.

    Many struggle with "3D" neurotypical issues because they don't align with our values or ways of being in the world.

    And most of us are empaths. Spirituality is the core of who we are and why we are so sensitive to the environment.

    This first episode is my personal spiritual journey as a late diagnosed ADHDer with sensory processing differences.
