About this listen

Buckle up crew, because this podcast is all about keeping it real. I’m your host Ashley and we’re diving headfirst into how life does a 180 the second that baby leaves your bod. Trust me, your world will never be the same. The day to day mom grind is tough, it’s relentless, and let’s face it, some days you’d rather do just about anything than change another diaper and have shit thrown at you. We're going to explore what it's like being a mom in today's world. And spoiler alert: it’s not great at times and harder than it looks on Instagram. I’ll be sharing my own hilarious and sometimes cringe-worthy stories, chatting with some amazing and fun guests while uncovering the trials, anxieties, and tough days that come with the territory. We’re going to cut through the bullshit and get to the heart of this crazy ride. I know firsthand how hard it can be trying to balance career and family, and the desperate need for self-care (hello, like 5-minute showers please!), and the never-ending quest for personal growth. Once you step into the mom zone, life gets harder than trying to assemble IKEA furniture in the dark. I wish I was joking. We're covering it all—from the first post-baby romp to the less glamorous side of pregnancy, mental health struggles, career ambitions, and so much more. Aug 14 2025

In this fun, exciting and candid conversation, Cat and Nat—motherhood’s favorite dynamic duo—pull back the curtain on the real, messy, and joy-filled ride of parenting today. From finding the sweet spot between fun and structure during the summer to navigating the ever-shifting waves of mom guilt, they share their unfiltered insights with humor and heart.

They talk about the friendships that keep moms afloat, the double-edged sword of social media, and the constant juggle of screen time and connection. With their signature blend of honesty and laughter, Cat and Nat remind us that community matters, imperfection is worth embracing, and moms can absolutely pursue their passions while raising kids.

Whether you’re here for solidarity, a good laugh, or a gentle nudge to ask for help without guilt, this episode is a reminder that joy and chaos can coexist and that the memories you’re making matter most.

  • More Than Just Sex: Reclaiming Intimacy, Desire & Self in Motherhood
    Jul 17 2025

Let’s talk about the thing so many of us aren’t talking about: intimacy after motherhood. This week, I’m joined by somatic sexologist Serena Haines for an honest, eye-opening conversation about what happens to our bodies, our relationships, and our sense of self when we become moms.

    We go deep on:
    – What intimacy actually looks like (hint: it’s not just about sex)
    – How to reconnect with your partner when you’re touched-out and drowning in motherhood
    – Why so many women feel shut down sexually & how to gently wake that part of you back up
    – Serena’s game-changing “5-minute rule” and the power of a 6-second kiss (hello, oxytocin!)

We also explore the emotional load of motherhood, how it impacts identity and desire, and what it really means to feel at home in your body again. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, curious, or just craving more real talk—this one’s for you.

Because reclaiming intimacy is not just about sex—it’s about coming home to you.

PS. Don’t forget, you are doing amazing <3
