    一天，獅子在海邊散步，


    看到海豚躍出海面，


    一副自在快樂的樣子，


    獅子覺得海豚很厲害，


    就跑去對海豚說:【我們來當好朋友吧!】


    海豚問:【我生活在海裡，


    你生活在陸地，


    你為什麼要跟我當朋友?】


    獅子說:【如果我們當朋友，


    那就是海裡和陸地的結合，


    力量會變得更強大，


    以後一定沒人敢欺負我們。】


    海豚覺得獅子說得非常有道理，


    因此很快地答應了獅子的請求。


    過了不久，獅子和野牛為了小事情打架，


    獅子對大海喊著:


    【海豚，快來幫我打野牛。】


    海豚從海裡探出了頭，


    他很想幫自己的朋友，


    可是，他生活在海裡，


    沒辦法到陸地上去。


    獅子看見海豚不幫忙，就責備牠說:


    【你不是答應和我當朋友嗎?


    怎麼現在不幫我打野牛呢?】


    海豚難過的說:


    【朋友，不要責備我，


    我如果離開水，就會死掉


    我如何幫助你呢?】
