About this listen

The Last Quarter Moon is when the Moon is 90 degrees away from returning to the Sun. We can gaze upon the half Moon and understand this balance between dark and light as a chance to integrate the wisdom we have gleaned into our consciousness. Our New Moon intentions not only brought us material manifestations, but also changed us on the inside. We may be letting go of aspects of our ego that we have outgrown… and that is valuable in itself. When an apple tree drops its apples, it serves several vital purposes that benefit the tree: 1. Energy Conservation: The tree stops putting energy into ripened fruit, redirecting it toward root growth, bark strengthening, or preparing for winter dormancy. 2. Seed Dispersal: Dropped apples can lead to seed germination nearby or be carried away by animals, ensuring the species’ continuation. 3. Soil Nourishment: As apples decompose, they return nutrients to the soil, feeding the tree and surrounding ecosystem. 4. Weight Relief: Letting go of heavy fruit prevents branch breakage and structural strain on the tree. In essence, dropping apples is a natural act of release, regeneration, and resource management. How are the patterns and ideas that you are letting go of making you stronger? How have the fruits of your labor gone on to feed and nourish your community and ecosystem? Can you see that even if you are composting more fruit than you are selling you are wiser than before? 🌿 The Last Quarter Moon was an important turning point in our New Moon Intention Challenge. It’s a time of noticing and integrating all that we’ve learned about ourselves and our businesses. We are considering how different our feelings and viewpoints are now that this cycle is coming to a close.
