But before it all goes down, you’re handed one mission: If you could save just 8 records to carry into the apocalypse, what would they be?No pressure, right? You’re only curating the soundtrack for the end of the world.And that’s exactly what we’re doing here. Every episode, I’ll sit down with incredible, creative people and we’ll dive into their ultimate picks. These are the records that shaped their lives, the ones they keep coming back to, and the ones they simply can’t leave behind. That's what The Last Lost Mixtape is all about.Because music is so much more than just sound, it’s memory. It's intrinsically linked to some of the most important moments of our lives. It's the song playing on the first day of summer, the song you hear at midnight on new years eve, the first dance at your wedding, the first song you hear when you go through a breakup. It’s tied to the moments that matter most. And I want to use the memories and stories linked to music alongside the idea of the absolute chaos of the end of the world to build these playlists – these personal collections of music and while we do that, get to know some incredibly interesting people on a deeper level.But, of course, I couldn’t ask anyone to do something I wouldn’t do myself.
