I've been doing a lot of thinking recently about the show, its identity, and the value it has to offer. I stressed and thought over it until I needed to take a walk to clear my head. While I was on that walk, I had some revelations about gratitude, and about the direction of the show.

The show is going to be shifting its focus just a bit. The ideas are the same, the goal is the same, but the method and the focus are taking a somewhat new direction. I'm very excited for what the future holds! Tune in to learn more!

The truth can be pretty uncomfortable sometimes. Unfortunately, not everyone gets to be a winner, and pain and unfairness are an unfortunate fact of existence. However, just because pain is a fact of life doesn't mean we get to write it off.

I'm afraid the right is in danger of growing callous to those who need help the most. We need to make sure that we don't forget that there are some who just need to be shown a better way. As I've said before, freedom of speech is one of the most important freedoms we hold dear. But if we don't use our freedom of speech to speak freely, then we may as well not have freedom of speech to speak at all!

The trend of self-censorship we see more and more these days is very troubling. It move the conflict between bad ideas and good ideas from the battlefield of ideas to the battlefield of public policy and government force. 2022 was, to say the least, a wild ride. As we look to 2023, if we want things to o better tan they did this year, I think we need to take some intentional steps to make it so. If we want next year to be better than this year, we need to do better than we did this year.

I think it's time we start taking action. It's no longer enough to just cast a vote every couple of years and doing nothing else. I think our New Years Resolution as a movement needs to be to take action. December 25 is the day we celebrate the birth of a Savior, born in a manger 2000 years ago. But there was something else born that day, a reason for celebration.

These days there seems to be a lot of focus on not offending people. There's a growing number of people that say you should be banned, or even arrested, based on what they call "hate speech". What happened to sticks and stones and all that?

But seriously, that seems a little extreme, and I think the negative consequences far outweigh any potential benefits. I think there may be a better way of fixing the problem of hateful speech. So what is hate speech, and how much should we be worried about it? Is there a better way to deal with it than censoring it? Tune in to find out!
