Today, we are talking with Shelley Rahim of New Mother Caregiving. Shelley is a seasoned Birth Doula, Postpartum Caregiver, and Postpartum Chef with over 18 years of experience supporting mothers and families during the childbearing year. She is the visionary founder behind New Mother Caregiving, LLC, where she shares her knowledge about nourishing and caring for postpartum mothers through her Instagram platform, ebooks and upcoming Youtube channel. Shelley wholeheartedly believes that when postpartum mothers receive the nourishment, love and care they truly deserve, it’s the entire family that flourishes. In the episode, Shelley and I discuss all things postpartum support, nourishment and preparation – focusing on the time honored tradition and rituals of “lying in” that are observed in cultures around the world.

You can find Shelley on Instagram @newmothercaregiving or her website, www.newmothercaregiving.com!
