About this listen
Becki Spellman grew up in Northeast Ohio and ran the 800m/mile at the University of Akron. After college, she moved up in distance - her personal bests include a 1:14 half and 2:40 marathon.
Becki qualified for four Olympic Trials ('08, '12, '16, '20). She is a competitor at heart and won her hometown race, the Akron Marathon, in 2011 and 2016.
Becki coached at Wright State University and now runs Spellman Coaching, where she is able to share her knowledge and experience with others.
