About this listen

The Body Protest is a podcast hoping to uncover the hidden journey of the relationship you have with yourself. Exploring the individual obstacles that makes everyone’s journey of self-love complicated and occasionally treacherous, we hope to unify people with the common understanding that the struggle to love ones self, is very real. We hope to explore themes of race, toxic masculinity, eating disorders and general pressures put on us by the media and how these factors altered the journeys of individual guests. With Nadia Craddock, Body Image Researcher, and Honey Ross, plus sized writer and activist - we combine the wonderful duo of scientific facts and research with a more emotional lens, to provide a well-rounded and informative look at the very personal, and often commodified journey of self-love PRODUCED BY THE PINK PROTEST

Hi Body Protestors! it's our Season finale, and we're ending with a very special episode - Honey and Nadia chat with Pop Star extraordinaire Self Esteem, Rebecca Lucy Taylor. Prioritise Pleasure has been lauded as the top album of 2021 by a multitude of publications, and rightly so - it's a rallying cry to stop dimming your light to make others comfortable. Rebecca wants to show people (esp. women) that there’s another way outside of patriarchal norms and expectations Rebecca talks to us about her career, the moments that helped shape her relationship with herself, queer identity and trusting your creative instincts. We discuss The power of vulnerability and the importance of therapy. We adore this episode and we hope you do too!

This week, Nadia and Honey speak to the incredible Kenny Ethan Jones! Jones is an activist, writer, advocate, consultant and a former model.
