• S3E42: Our HALF MILLION DOLLAR MISTAKE: What happens when you ignore your business framework
    Dec 17 2025

A few years ago, I was grinding it out like everyone else.

Chasing leads, closing deals, trying to figure out how to scale without losing my mind or my margin.

I made every mistake you can think of. Hired the wrong people.

Trusted my gut when I should've trusted the data. Burned cash on ideas that sounded brilliant at 2 AM but crashed by sunrise.

And then something clicked. I started building systems.

    Real frameworks.

Decision-making processes that actually worked when the pressure was on. I stopped winging it and started winning it.

Now? I run a sales automation company that's helping businesses close more deals with less effort.

But here's the thing... I'm still in the game. I'm still making decisions, testing strategies, and yeah, still screwing up sometimes.

The difference is, I'm learning faster. Moving smarter. And I'm not keeping any of it to myself.

Every week on this podcast, I pull back the curtain on what's really happening in my business. The wins.

The losses. The $400K mistakes that taught me more than any course ever could. I break down the frameworks we use, the systems we've built, and the hard lessons that cost real money.

This isn't motivational content. This isn't theory from someone who sold a company ten years ago and now just talks about it.

This is what's happening right now, in real time, in the arena.

If you're building something real and you want the truth about what it actually takes... the strategy, the execution, the failures, and the comebacks... then you're in the right place.

    Let's get to work.

Watch the full episode now and learn how we turned a $423K mistake into our biggest lesson yet.

  • S3E41: How to make good decisions to unlock business growth and more opportunities
    Nov 15 2025

The biggest risk to your business isn't competition. It's you.

Specifically, it's your emotional volatility and your inability to make objectively good decisions based on data instead of feelings.

In this episode, Tikis and I tackle the one thing that separates businesses that scale from businesses that stay stuck - emotional decision-making.

I've watched entrepreneurs tank their own growth because they cared more about how something was done than whether it was actually working.

I had a client ready to shut off a cancellation sequence because it 'felt too aggressive.'

The data? 62% rebooking rate with over 500 calls rebooked.

Conservative estimate? Over $305,000 in revenue. They almost killed it because of feelings, not facts.

Another client lost their mind over 3 leads. Started panicking, tagging the team, asking for emergency help.

When I pulled up the dashboard, all 3 leads had responded, and one booked a call. The system was working. Their emotions were lying to them.

This is the pattern I see over and over. You're too close to your business. You hate the way your top closer runs calls even though they're closing at 50%.

You want to change the messaging even though it's converting at 12% lead-to-book. You're making decisions based on preference instead of performance.

I walk you through exactly how to fix this. How to zoom out, slow down, and let the numbers guide your decisions instead of your gut reactions. Why function over form is the only way to scale.

If you want the outcome more than you want it done your way, this episode will change how you run your business. Stop letting your emotions cost you money.

Stop letting your feelings tank your revenue.

Hit play and learn how to make decisions that actually scale your business.

Drop a 💰 if you've ever killed something that was working because it didn't "feel right."

  • S3E40: How to scale your business without overwhelming your team (Get a bigger plate method)
    Oct 22 2025

    What's up crew!

Real talk - one of our clients had a 2 for 98 close rate. TWO sales out of 98 qualified leads. And they wanted to blame marketing.

I said send me the sales calls. Within 30 seconds, I knew exactly what the problem was. Their sales team couldn't close an open door, but they were really good at convincing leadership it was someone else's fault.

We fired the whole team. Brought in new reps. $100K week immediately. Same marketing. Same leads. Different results.

That's what happens when you finally solve the RIGHT problem instead of just staying busy with what feels comfortable.

Look, at Charlie we're getting stress-tested right now. Enrollments are at an all-time high, team's overwhelmed, and honestly? This is the best time to be alive in business.

When you're getting pushed to your limit, that's when the real leaks show up. That's when you're forced to level up.

In this episode, Tikis and I break down how to actually identify your real constraints, why being overwhelmed is a gift, the 30-day rule we use for team performance, and why faith isn't a license to be naive when it comes to your business.

Most business owners are losing thousands - maybe hundreds of thousands - every week by focusing on the wrong problems. Don't be one of them.

  • S3E39: How we turned our WORST month into a RECORD BREAKER
    Oct 1 2025

Yo, what's good? Welcome back to another episode of the Boardroom Podcast, where we keep it real about the startup grind.

The month of August was WILD, y'all. Started as one of our worst months, ended up being our absolute record month.

That's the volatility of this startup life, but man, when it hits different, it HITS different.

    𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞

Real talk - fit pros are just built differently. They take action FAST. Why? Because you don't get in shape sitting on your a** doing nothing. You get under the bar and put in the reps. That mentality carries straight into business.

They're coachable, they invest in education, and when you prove you can solve their problem? They're ready to roll.

That's why our Blue Chip portfolio is majority fit pros and why I still love serving this space at the highest level.

    𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞'𝐬 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝

Here's what's crazy - we've been training Charlie on a sales engine that's making the baseline AI better and better.

Like, out of the box, new clients are getting a 10-year sales vet. No joke. And when we stopped restricting Charlie with rigid scripts (what we call "naked Charlie" or vanilla Charlie), holy hell... the conversations got DEEP. Natural mirroring, reframes, tie-downs - all without us explicitly programming it.

That's what happens when you build with a sales perspective, not just a technical one.

    𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐌 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐨𝐦𝐛

Look, if you're doing $50K-$100K/month with a DM funnel? I salute you. Seriously. I tip my hat because I KNOW you're a dog and you've got savages on your team.

But here's the reality: you're glued to your phone 10-12 hours a day. Your team's burnt out.

The lead quality is volatile as hell. And I can see it in your eyes on calls - you've got maybe 30 more days before you burn this thing down. Been there. Seen it. Called it out to clients' faces.

𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐃𝐌 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐮 (𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭)

A human DM setter can handle maybe 250-500 leads a month if they're SAVAGE. But DM campaigns? You're getting 500 leads per WEEK. Sometimes per DAY. Do the math - you'd need 30 people to handle that effectively.

That's why people cap out around $100K/month with DM funnels.

The evolution? Keep the DM funnel running, but start diversifying into call funnels.

It's harder to set up (90 days of darkness before it pops off), but you can scale to multiple eight figures with a dialed-in call funnel. Rarely seen anyone do that with just DMs.

    𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐀𝐈 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐞

Charlie gives you your bandwidth back. Your team gets their bandwidth back. You can squeeze more juice from your DM campaigns while you're building out that call funnel infrastructure. That's the play.

    𝐌𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

Drop a comment - are you running DM funnels or call funnels? What do you love? What's crushing your soul? Let's talk about it. And if you're a fit pro reading this and feeling burnt out from the grind? Hit us up.

We're building features specifically for your vertical that are going to take your business to the next level. Stay calm, change lives, and have business on your terms.

  • S3E38: When Your Business Is Dying: How to Violently Build Momentum Again
    Sep 18 2025

When your business is stagnant or declining, most entrepreneurs make the fatal mistake of throttling back their marketing while they "fix things."

This episode reveals why that's completely backwards and how we've turned around multiple blue chip clients who were stuck in revenue decline.

We break down the exact case study of a client who was splitting her messaging between plant-based and menopause markets, confusing her audience and killing her conversions.

The moment we had her abandon the plant-based angle and go all-in on menopause only, she generated 16 sales in a single week and eliminated her entire DM team overhead.

We explore Russell Brunson's "hungry market" principle and why targeting people in genuine high pain always beats having the perfect product.

I also share the biggest mistake I made with Charlie AI in 2023, when our product was terrible but I still throttled back acquisition instead of being transparent about our limitations and offering discounted rates.

The reality is that momentum is incredibly difficult to rebuild once you lose it, but new enrollments solve virtually every business problem because fresh cash flow gives you the resources to hire people and fix whatever's breaking.

If your business has flatlined, this episode gives you the exact framework for violently rebuilding momentum through increased sales and marketing activity.

Ready to turn your business around? Hit up Tikis or me on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn to learn about our Blue Chip done-for-you acquisition system. We only work with 8-12 clients at a time for maximum results.

    P.S.

Stop waiting for your product to be perfect before you start marketing aggressively. Your business needs momentum more than it needs perfection, and new enrollments are the lifeblood that keeps everything else running.

  • S3E36: Why Your Offer Sucks And Why You Can't Generate Leads
    Aug 22 2025

What’s up, good fam, Iggy here.

In this episode of The Boardroom Podcast me and Tikis get real about why most entrepreneurs struggle to generate leads and scale their business.

Everybody wants to blame ads, platforms, or budgets but the truth is most people have weak offers and poor positioning.

We break down why the businesses crushing it with Charlie have clear marketing, strong demand generation, and founders who understand sales, while the ones that stall usually treat ads like organic posts and wonder why nothing sticks.

Organic sales can fool you into thinking your offer is solid, but paid traffic exposes the truth. If your offer is not clear, not unique, and not solving a painful problem, no amount of content or ad spend will save you.

We go deep on the three levels of trust every buyer must cross before they ever give you money, and why hitting a nine or ten in those areas is what actually closes deals.

We talk about what makes someone an attractive character in their market and why it has nothing to do with being perfect looking and everything to do with being relatable, credible, and able to speak your audience’s language.

We also share stories from real brand audits where we had to tell founders point blank that they were the problem.

Some people cried, some got offended, but the ones who listened and made changes turned around and built seven-figure businesses. That is the power of clear messaging, strong positioning, and the right face leading your brand.

If you are wondering why your ads are not working or why your funnel is stalling this episode is the reality check you need.

It will sting, but it will also give you the clarity to fix your offer, become the attractive character your audience actually responds to, and stop wasting money trying to shortcut the process.

If you want us to do an audit on your brand and give you the raw truth, comment AUDIT on the comment section.

We will tear it down, build it back up, and show you exactly what needs to change.

This one is straight talk, no sugarcoating, and full of lessons that can save you from burning months and thousands of dollars.

  • S3E35: Why Reputation Beats Revenue in Business (And How It Makes You More Money)
    Aug 16 2025

In business, your reputation is your real currency. Revenue might keep the lights on, but reputation builds a legacy.

In this episode, we unpack why protecting your name is worth more than chasing short-term sales, and how doing right by your customers can actually grow your business over time.

I share a story where I refunded a massive amount in sales after a product didn’t deliver as promised. It stung in the moment, but it kept our brand clean and our customers speaking positively about us.

Tikis shares a clothing order nightmare where a brand refused to make a small gesture to fix their mistake, losing him as a loyal customer for good.

In this episode of The Boardroom Podcast, we break down how poor customer service erases loyalty, why keeping a customer is smarter than constantly replacing them, and how to offboard someone so well that they still recommend you, even if they didn’t get results.

We pull lessons from brands to show that above-and-beyond service is a competitive edge most entrepreneurs ignore!
