Spencer and Josh are going way back to 1942, the golden age of cinema and really, the golden age of pirate films. We are talking all about The Black Swan (not to be confused with that Darren Aronofsky and Natalie Portman flick of a similar name). Starring Tyrone Power and Maureen O'Hara, directed by Henry King, and based on the 1932 novel by Rafael Sabatini. This film is swashbuckling at its best, with excellent sword fights, big ship explosions, and an adventure story around the time Captain Morgan was trying to civilize the Caribbean for England and Spain. This also won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography in 1942.
