    A standout at Denver University, Murkey played 118 games, averaging 10.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. As a senior, he earned All-Summit League Second Team honours and set a Denver program record with 42 points against South Dakota State in 2020.


    Murkey’s professional career includes time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Iowa Wolves, Stockton Kings, and a brief stint with the Sacramento Kings. He most recently played for the Wisconsin Herd in 2024.
