  • ATLA Book 1, Chapter 14: "The Fortune Teller"
    Jul 25 2022

WE'RE BACK, BENDERS!! In this episode of The Avatar Cycle, Conner, Karis, and Collin go through Book 1, Chapter 14 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - "The Fortune Teller." In this episode, the Dudreys reconvene for the first time in a while to talk all things Avatar and have clearly forgotten a lot of stuff since last time, including a few running jokes. But don't worry, they come up with a few more as they talk about Dave Filoni, discuss the awkwardness of twelve-year-old romance, introduce a new segment, and (as always) make way too many Phineas and Ferb references.

If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!

  • The show isn't over! (Seriously)
    Feb 14 2021

Hey, everybody! You can listen to me explain or just read right here, but my little family's literally doubled in size over the course of three months and my wife and I are still waiting for our daughter to be born. So once everyone settles in and life settles down a little bit, we'll be back! Can't wait to get back to making this show when I can! Thanks so much for patience, thanks for listening, and we'll be back soon!

  • ATLA Book 1, Chapter 12: "The Storm"
    Dec 9 2020

FLASHBACK TIME. On this week's episode of The Avatar Cycle Podcast, Karis and Collin are back in the hu-man cave to discuss Book 1, Chapter 12 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - "The Storm." In this episode, Karis zones out a lot, we mention Vulfpeck at least twice, and we don't make any Phineas and Ferb references. Oh, and we also talk about this dope episode of the show. If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!

  • ATLA Book 1, Chapter 11: "The Great Divide"
    Nov 25 2020

REDEMPTION! Or...Not? This week Sam and I discuss Book 1, Chapter 11 of Avatar: The Last Airbender. And hey, look, we know "The Great Divide" is considered the worst episode of the entire series. Trust me, we know. So to make up for that fact, we went on way too many tangents in this episode, including about a random anime that comes up in the Avatar Extras, whether or not Aang can decapitate somebody with airbending, and Sam shares his secret phrase for kicking into an Irish accent. If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!

    Nov 10 2020

"Hey." This week, Sam's back on the podcast as we discuss Book 1, Chapter 10 of Avatar: The Last Airbender. In this episode, I talk about how much I love Jet and the Freedom Fighters, Star Wars comes up a lot, and Sam gets a little too worked up about tree physics. If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!

  • ATLA Book 1, Chapter 9: "The Waterbending Scroll"
    Oct 27 2020

"That's good." This week on The Avatar Cycle, my brother and sister are back again as we discuss Book 1, Chapter 9 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - "The Waterbending Scroll." In this episode, we mourn some cabbages for the fourth time, we laugh way too hard at some silly lines, and Collin gets really excited about a joke he made. If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!

  • ATLA Book 1, Chapter 8: "Avatar Roku: Winter Solstice, Part 2"
    Oct 13 2020

Flameo, hotman! This week on The Avatar Cycle, my brother and sister are back again as we get into a lot of details on Avatar Roku in Book 1, Chapter 8 - "Avatar Roku: Winter Solstice, Part 2." In this episode, we all lose our minds a little bit. We also, once again, discuss the timeline of Avatar and how long people live, we make way too many references to other things, we talk about the  *ahem* tension between Zuko and Zhao, and we  come up with what is probably my new favorite imaginary ATLA character. Also this episode starts with Collin and Karis doing a Phineas and Ferb bit for way too long. If you enjoy the show, why not share it with a friend? Regardless, thanks for listening!
