Dâu da xoan đứng phố hàng Ngang

Đứng dạn dĩ giữa bụi đường náo nhiệt

Giữa Ray-băng Sen-kô A-di-đat...

Mấy ai nhìn ai biết dâu da xoan


Người quản lý biểu dương nền kinh tế thị trường

Người tiêu thụ hài lòng muốn mua gì cũng có

Tôi, người làm thơ đi ngang nơi phố chợ

Thương và lo cho em dâu da xoan...


Mùa xoan vần, trời đất bắt đầu xuân

Mùa cây cối rủ nhau vào lễ hội

Biết bao nỗi vu vơ rồi con người cần tới

Dẫu có tiền không ai bán mà mua


Nhưng sớm nay tôi chợt đứng sững sờ

Phố hàng Ngang dâu da xoan nở trắng

Và mưa rơi thật dịu dàng, êm lặng

Cho một người nào đó ngạc nhiên hoa...
