• Call to Grow, ep 4 of 4 - "Tree"
    Apr 23 2021

Our April theme is Call to Grow.

As we emerge from our guarded shelters this spring, what are we reaching for? What do we do with this complicated feeling, of longing to grow, to support, to provide? How might our own human life cycle mirror that of our tree friends, in spirals and attunement toward the light? As we look deeply into the nature of our questioning, we see that the seed of new possibility is always present, and that not all circles and spirals are forms of repeating past mistakes. Come join us, as we grow from seed to forest, together.

    This week's session :

This week is "Tree." Recognizing that we carry both our younger seed and sapling selves as well as our full grown potential - all in the same moment every day - and how this shapes our understanding and worldview of the forest around us.

  • Alone Together, ep 3 of 3 - "Noticing the Blooms and Minding the Wounds"
    Mar 19 2021

This March, we explore the theme Alone Together.

It's been a year of separation. How are you feeling, here in this space between together and also alone? This month, we explore the natural movement toward the warmth of spring bloom, while also holding space for the thaw that reveals all the material of existence - old leaves, emotions, memories, and yes, even garbage - that we're still working through from seasons before.

Both can be true. Both can be held. And we do this both alone and together.

    This week's session :

  • Alone Together, ep 2 of 3 - "Asynchronous Suffering"
    Mar 12 2021

This March, we explore the theme Alone Together.

It's been a year of separation. How are you feeling, here in this space between together and also alone? This month, we explore the natural movement toward the warmth of spring bloom, while also holding space for the thaw that reveals all the material of existence - old leaves, emotions, memories, and yes, even garbage - that we're still working through from seasons before.

Both can be true. Both can be held. And we do this both alone and together.

    This week's session :

"Asynchronous Suffering" is the awareness that not all of us are in the same space, at the same time, that we perhaps were a year ago. The crisis of the pandemic became an almost unifying, nearly universally shared experience across the globe. As we emerge from this time now, in dramatically different ways both locally and afar, how are we handling the loneliness that we may feel alone in suffering once again?

    This week's session :

Our first practice this month, "Dethawing" is a nod to the expansion/contraction relationship of spring, and this year in particular. How we find ourselves smiling at the new budding life around us in one moment, and taken aback by our unprocessed grief in the next. What is it that you need to grieve, friend?

  • ALL THE FEELS, ep 3 of 3 - "Freedom Within Constraint"
    Feb 26 2021

Our February theme is ALL THE FEELS.

A theme that hardly needs any introduction, this month we explore what it is to honestly acknowledge our feelings, to name them, to even give ourselves permission to feel.

    This week's session :

"Freedom Within Constraint", our theme this week, is all about understanding how the boundaries around us influence how we express and understand feelings - much like how the shape of a teapot affects the tea. Knowing that these constraints and boundaries are real and not going anywhere, how can we move toward greater ease in expression?
