About this listen
In this weeks episode of Twisted Talks we look at the case of Elizabeth Smart.
Elizabeth was abducted on the 5th of June 2002, at the age of 14, from her own bedroom in Salt Lake City, Utah by Brian David Mitchell.
Elizabeth endured horrendous treatment at the hands of Brian Mitchell for almost a year before being reunited with her family thanks to someone recognising her abductor and phoning the authorities.
Elizabeth Smart has displayed so much resilience despite everything she went through and went on to be an advocate for victims of abduction and sexual assault.
