    Aug 4 2025

Grief does strange things. It changes the way we hear, feel--and sometimes, even what we see.

In this episode of Stories on Sleepless Nights, we explore how loss can open something deeper… maybe even something beyond this world.

Featuring The Visitor from the Mangroves, a chilling story from rural Isabela where a mother starts hearing familiar footsteps after her son’s disappearance.

Is it just grief? Or something else that answered her call?

  • The Five-Pointed Star (Pentagram)
    May 27 2025

We tend to fear what we don’t understand. Symbols, silence, grief--they all have a way of making us uncomfortable. But sometimes, the things that look darkest are actually what’s holding us together.

This episode is a little different. After losing my dad, I stepped away for a while. I wasn’t ready to tell stories. I wasn’t ready to talk. But somewhere in the quiet, I kept seeing the same symbol pop up over and over again—the pentagram.

It got me thinking about how often things, like that symbol, get misjudged. It made me think about protection, grief, the things that stay with us, even when someone’s gone.

    This one’s personal.

Thank you for still being here.
