Bridgette and her co-founder Helen Newman started Ecofieldtips in Singapore in 1997 with the aim to provided opportunities for kids to get out of the classroom and be immersed in nature.They provided these services for schools all around the world and have inspired many ecologists in doing so.
Ecofieldtrips also provide young career ecologists with opportunities to work in the field of ecology and gain valuable experiences in education and fieldwork. In this podcast Bridget talks about the inspirations to start Ecofieldtrips and the importance of outdoor education when studying Ecology.
