One of the first things every adventure rider does after getting a bike is figuring out where to ride. I started with local gravel and forest roads, then discovered TET (Trans Euro Trail). After a while, I wanted more – new routes, fresh challenges.

The options?

✔️ Ask other riders for GPX tracks

✔️ Spend hours browsing maps and making my own routes

✔️ Wander around, hitting dead ends, hoping to find the perfect trail

I still enjoy that, but sometimes you just want to jump on your bike and ride without the hassle of planning. That’s when I came across Stegra, a Swedish start-up app built specifically for adventure riders.

After testing it in Latvia, Romania, and Greece, I wanted to dive deeper into adventure navigation and the features Stegra offers. So, I sat down with the Stegra team to discuss their app and recorded the conversation—because if I found it useful, maybe you will too!
