 The text Saundarya Lahari consists of two parts; Ananda Lahari meaning “waves of happiness” (first 41 stanzas) and Saundarya Lahari meaning “waves of beauty” (the next 59 stanzas), but together they are known as Saundarya Lahari. In this text the formless Mother Divine, as Tripurasundari, is described in beautiful metaphors. Tripurasundari is the most beautiful One (sundari) that lives in the three (tri) cities (pura) of Waking, Dreaming, and Deep Sleep. These 100 verses contain the essence of the subtlest of Sri Vidya Tantra. She is pure non-dual Consciousness
