Dr. Erin Reedy is a speech-language pathologist, a board-certified specialist in swallowing and swallowing disorders and a clinical researcher. Dr. Reedy received a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with Dr. Heather Bonilha at MUSC, and did a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern University with Dr. Bonnie Martin-Harris in the Swallowing Cross-Systems Collaborative lab and Dr. John Pandolfino in the Esophageal Function lab. She returned to the MUSC clinical SLP department in August of 2023. She is interested in the interrelationships between oral, pharyngeal, and esophageal aspects of swallowing and has an independent line of research using high-resolution esophageal manometry to investigate proximal esophageal function.
