 Besides being an absolute weapon when it comes to competitive axe throwing, Alex Krstic is passionate about Australia’s native wildlife species and their preservation. For over 30 years, Big Al has been seeing to it, that invasive species such as feral cats and foxes in Australia, don’t have the easy ride they so desperately want when it comes to ravaging native wildlife species. What’s more impressive still, is that he has, and continues to, use dogs to help him with his work. Alex “Serbian Santa” Krstic, as he is so fondly known by the children of The Yarra Valley, is an old school “Dog Man” who certainly knows his way around the traps, with experience breeding Hounds, Deutsch Drahthaars and Jagd Terriers, the latter of which he goes into great detail about with Josh and Steve in this episode.
