Idén tavasszal sorozatot kezdtünk arról, hol és milyen keretek között tanulhatnak magyarul az iskolások Ausztriában. Az első részben néhány hete a főváros, Bécs helyzetét jártuk körül, most pedig hazai pályán, azaz Burgenlandban vizsgálódunk. Tartományunkban egy héttel ezelőtt több mint 33 ezer diáknak kezdődött meg a jól megérdemelt nyári vakáció. Közülük mintegy 2.000-en magyar nyelvet is tanultak valamelyik tartományi iskolában. Ahogy Bognár László kollégám összefoglalójából mindjárt kiderül, Burgenland az őshonos népcsoportjai miatt különleges státuszt élvez a magyaroktatás területén.
