Ce roman raconte l'histoire, l'enfance sauvage de deux frères, à travers la voix de Noé, élevés à la dure par un père monstrueux mais fascinant, et qui élisent la forêt comme terre d'accueil et mère protectrice, parce que la leur n'a plus donné signe de vie.
Il s'agit du 2e roman d'Alexandre Lenot après "Écorces vives" paru en 2018 aux Éditions Denoël.
À la rentrée prochaine, pour son prochain roman, Alexandre voyagera en Egypte et sera en résidence aux Correspondances de Manosque, festival soutenu par le Centre national du livre.
