About this listen

Being liked and accepted by the world has become an idol and obsession to the growing apostate church across America and globally. It's time to stop playing Christianity as usual and being so earthly-minded, we're no heavenly good.

Show notes:

A.W. Tozer quote from the book The Quotable Tozer 2.

Dave Hunt Quote from the book Whatever Happened to Heaven?
Dave was the founder of
The Berean Call.

Vance Havner said: "The devil is not fighting religion. He’s too smart for that. He is producing a counterfeit Christianity, so much like the real one that good Christians are afraid to speak out against it."

Instead of becoming like the world to reach them, here are a few biblical ways to be more heavenly-minded when reaching the world:
*We can go into our respective towns and bring the gospel to people who don’t attend church.
*We can pray that the Lord will open up opportunities for us to meet and pray with broken people.
*We can actively seek out the least of these to meet practical needs immediately in Jesus’ name.
*We can share our testimony of how we were saved and what Jesus is doing in our lives.
*We can collectively yield to the Holy Spirit’s power to change people and not rely on our abilities, programs, methods, and understanding. We can pray the Lord will send laborers into the field.
Every blessing in Jesus, dear friends.
