    Sep 15 2022

Slutty Activism isn't about only being interested in sex, only being interested in your own pleasure, or being selfish and only caring about your own needs.

Find out what it IS about in this episode

"The more connected we are to each other, the more powerful we become."

Slutty Activists are role models who demonstrate for their friends and lovers what bold communication, caring connection, and sex for pleasure look like. They are lights in the darkness.

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. How you can use your sexuality as a force for good in the world (i.e. "slutty activism").

    2. How poor sex education and toxic messages about sex can lead to disastrous consequences in people's lives.

  • EP02: The Power of Pity: How to Break Free from the Cycle of Self-Loathing and Manipulation
    Sep 15 2022

When you've been conditioned to believe you're unworthy of love and connection, it's time to commit to changing your mindset and reclaiming your power.

"You need to decide if you really want to experience sexual freedom and to discover who you are as a sexual being."

Have you ever been really down on yourself about your sexual prospects? Maybe you've felt like you were never going to find someone who wanted you.

A lot of people throw themselves pity parties by sharing their laments on anonymous forums or privately beating themselves up in their own minds.

If that resonates, you're not the only one. I've been there. A lot of my clients have been there. It's easy to wind up getting really down about your sexual prospects.

But here's the thing - pity isn't benign. In fact, pity does the internal work of fascism for the fascists... for free! The good news is that there is another way.

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. The dangers of pity parties and self-loathing

    2. The toxicity of mainstream approaches to dating, sex, and relationships

    3. The importance of commitment to self-liberation

  • EP03: Gender & Slutty Activism: The Challenge of Going Against the Grain
    Sep 15 2022

How does society's view of gender affect dating and sex? Is your dating life affected by society's view of gender?

"When you finally start to find the others, the slutty activists in your midst, approach them with kindness and curiosity, whether they go on to become your partners or not."

Think about all of the gender stereotypes you've heard about men and women. There's a lot of them, right?

The good news is that gender stereotypes are not prescriptive - human beings are not destined to a specific fate because of their sex.

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. How gender is framed as a power struggle between men and women, where sex is becomes a transaction

    2. A controversial reason why there are so many stereotypes related to gender that so many people seem to believe in

    3. Proof that gender stereotypes are not fate

    4. What you can do differently in dating, sex, and relationships to experience more connection and pleasure

  • EP04: Why Being Hidden Keeps You Single (and How to Change That)
    Sep 15 2022

What's one simple, essential step required to experience more connection and intimacy in your relationships?

For people to be able to connect with you, they have to be able to find you.

"Your courage and allowing yourself to be seen as you truly are will give permission to others to begin to do the same."

I'm always curious about who people are and what they want. It's one of the first things I ask about when I meet someone. I've found that a lot of people have spent years hiding who they are and what they want. They've learned that it's safer to be someone else.

But that comes at a cost.

When you're hidden, you're also disconnected from the things you want most. You're invisible, and that can be lonely and frustrating. I work with people to help them slowly reveal more of themselves. It's a process of taking small steps and seeing how it feels. As they become more visible, they also become more attractive to the people they want to connect with. And as they become more visible, they also help others around them to do the same

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. How staying hidden impacts your ability to connect with others

    2. Some of the ways we stay hidden, even unconsciously

    3. How revealing more of yourself has a positive impact on those around you and on the world at large

  • EP05: How to Be an Antifascist Lover: The Power of Sensuality and Presence
    Sep 15 2022

Does any of this sound familiar?

You don't feel connected to your body, which makes it difficult to enjoy sexual experiences.

Your disconnection from your body leaves you feeling disconnected from others, which makes it difficult to share intimacy and connection during sex.

Our relationship with our bodies impacts our sexual experiences, but that's not all. It's not just an individual thing. Our relationship with our bodies and the state of perpetual disconnect many of us find ourselves in have significant implications for our world.

"The ability to focus on what you feel when you focus on pleasurable sensations opens the door to ecstasy."

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. How disconnection from the body contributes to loneliness and dissatisfaction

    2. How fascism benefits from our corporal disconnection

    3. How sensuality and presence can be used to fight back against fascism

  • EP06: Why the 'Soulmate Myth' is Toxic and How to Fight It
    Sep 15 2022

If you're looking for more fulfilling and satisfying relationships, then this episode is for you! In this episode, we explore how to come to your relationships as a whole human being and what you stand to gain from relationships created without any expectation that your partner will fill a void.

"Shifting your self expectation to one of wholeness means you come to expect wholeness in your partners too. You no longer put pressure on yourself to complete them, or vice versa. Only partners who come together in wholeness are able to experience true collaboration."

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. The idea that we remain somehow incomplete without finding our one and only destined partner is everywhere

    2. Why many people yearn to find the One

    3. The importance of wholeness to radically transforming your relationships... and the world

  • EP07: How to Date Without Being a People Pleaser or a Jerk
    Sep 15 2022

In this episode, we explore how the common relationship strategies of people pleasing and domination actually wind up facilitating fascism.

"The answer to escaping the self sacrifice - dominance paradigm is to stop playing this game entirely and to focus inward on what you actually want."

I've been in private practice since 2016, and in that time, I've observed a pattern of two common approaches people take to relationships. Most of my clients are people who are trying to please others in order to get what they want.

They might be single and frustrated because they're not finding the right relationships, or they might be in relationships where they're being treated poorly.

Then there's another group of clients who are trying to dominate others in order to get what they want. They might be successful in getting into relationships, but they're anxious and doubtful about their partner's attraction to them.

Both of these groups of people are actually quite similar in that they're both trying to control others to get what they want, and in the process, they're both missing on the opportunity for authentic connection.

In this episode, you will learn:

    1. What people pleasing and domineering approaches to relationships look like

    2. How people pleasing and domineering behaviors can facilitate fascism

    3. How shifting to a strategy of collaboration, based on sharing and hearing true desires, can change your life and the world for the better
