    Aug 12 2025

Hello again everybody! This week, it was announced that the Australian Government will 'recognise a Palestinian state'. On the one hand, messaging like this is too little, too late, and as described by APAN, a "fig leaf" without sanctions on Israel. On the other hand, Mark Leibler is probably apoplectic about this, and so I hope that's painful for him. This is part 2 of our series on the man, the candlelit politician.

The genocide in Gaza is still ongoing and there are innumerable people suffering unimaginable hardships. After being displaced from his home, Karam is one of many struggling to stay alive amidst Israel's continued assault. Karam and his family are seeking help with accessing food, shelter and medicine. You can learn more about his story, or donate funds if you can, at https://gogetfunding.com/providing-basic-needs-of-my-family-in-gaza/
