 Sheikh Muhammad Auwal Adam Albaniy Zaria (1960–2014) was a distinguished Nigerian Islamic scholar and a staunch advocate of the Salafiyyah methodology, which emphasizes adherence to the Quran, Sunnah, and the understanding of the pious predecessors (Salaf). Born in Zaria, Nigeria, Sheikh Albaniy dedicated his life to Islamic scholarship, da’wah, and the revival of authentic Islamic teachings. He founded the Daarul Hadeethis Salafiyyah in Zaria, where he taught thousands of students, promoting the principles of Tawheed (Islamic monotheism) and correcting misconceptions within the Muslim community.
