 How much is enough? Why can't I find contentment? Is this the abundant Christian life? We all seek a life with purpose and fulfillment. We desire a life that is abundant and marked by contentment. Jesus says in John 10 that He came to give us the opportunity to experience life that is abundant and overflowing. Through the Bible we learn the principles of how to experience that life, and yet for most Christians there seems to be something missing. We go to church, we serve, we sing, we do all of the things that we are instructed to do and yet there's often a sense of longing and the feeling that something is missing. Is that you? Have you been there? I sure have until I found myself in the midst of an earthquake with a family of adopted kids and no where to turn but God. In that season I learned what my life was missing and how to experience the fulfilled, abundant life Christ came to provide. We call the lifestyle that leads to Christian fulfillment Sharing Your Cake. In a world that says you can have your cake and eat it too, we help people find joy by having their cake and sharing it.
