 In Hebrews 9, we are reminded that the Old Testament Tabernacle was never the final answer but a shadow pointing forward to Christ. Every part—the candlestick, the table of showbread, the veil, the incense, and the ark—pictured the glory and work of Jesus, the true and greater sanctuary. Unlike the repeated sacrifices of the old covenant, Christ entered once for all into the heavenly sanctuary by His own blood to provide eternal redemption. This message, Shadows Pointing to the Savior, calls us to see how the shadows of the Tabernacle are fulfilled in Him, and to draw near with boldness to God through the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
