Kirsty graduated with an MEng in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, where her passion for engineering met a drive to make a difference both in the lab and in society. Her current research explores decision-making in partial hand prosthetic prescription, combining technical insight with user-centred design.

In this episode, Kirsty shares her unique career journey spanning academia and industry. Kirsty opens up and shares her journey into engineering, her ongoing PhD, and how she’s balancing both roles while championing inclusion in engineering.
