About this listen

The almighty DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979 are about to hit Australia, playing their beloved debut album "You're A Woman, I'm A Machine" in full. They're one of my all-time favourite bands and so I'm thrilled to have vocalist and drummer SEBASTIEN GRAINGER join me on the show this week. We chat about how his self-critical appraisal of his own performances has softened over time, my failed attempt in 2011 to recommend a pizza place to him over Twitter, roasting Lou Reed at an awards show, shaking up the dynamic of his town by baking the perfect birthday cake and the strangely universal experience of navigating creative partnerships.

You do not want to miss Death From Above 1979 on tour in Australia this April! They're playing Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne. Grab tickets here: https://deathfromabove1979.com/SHOWS
