  • A Sign, A City & Always A King - Post Series Discussion SPOILERS
    May 26 2025

"...I pray God will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in its truth. A world which now trembles before the King in Yellow…"

Now that the series is finished we had a discussion about what we thought about our journey, sharing our experiences, thoughts and theories behind why, when and how our story was told.

Spoiler Warning for those who haven't listened to the story so far.

  • A Sign, A City & Always A King - Wynn Part 10
    May 19 2025

"Shall dry and die in Lost Carcosa."

This series explores the journey of the poor librarian Wynn Crookshank. An obsessive in the dark mysteries between the threads and pages of human history. He searched too far or perhaps far enough and he found himself somewhere he didn’t expect….

A Sign, A City and Always a King is a Call of Cthulhu 7th edition series following Heinrichs Guide to Carcosa, A solo campaign that can be played by yourself or with a single player and keeper.

Carcosa, Hastur and the mythos surrounding The Yellow King can be confronting.

In this series you will be hearing visions, tales and experiences based around their domains:

    Hedonism
    Nihilism
    Depression
    Decadence
    And Disorder.

There will be times this story may hold a level of intensity and may cause discomfort to some so I wish to give the following warnings in advance. There will be references to violence, gore, mental illness, sex and drugs.

Please, if you feel uncomfortable, pause the episode and take the time you need.
