  • Ebner is on the brink of losing his job at A.M.I and in this episode, he makes damn sure he gets fired.

    Before that though, there's a visit from slimy David Pecker, the head dude at National Enquirer.

    Finally, on his way out the door with a stolen A.M.I laptop and a $5000 severance check, a co-worker gives Ebner the contents of Paris Hilton's hacked Sidekick and that leads to his next book, "6 degrees of Paris Hilton" which we will be discussing on the next season of Gumshoe Diaries.
