About this listen
Cormac Ryan is my guest this week. Cormac is a physiotherapist and athletic therapist from Dublin. After some health issues that left him with a pacemaker at the age 18, Cormac then began to struggle with his relationship with food and later developed an eating disorder. Just over a year ago, Cormac received treatment to help with his illness and used cycling as one of his outlets. He started to plot a cycle across the United States in aid of BodyWhys: The Eating Disorder Association of Ireland and Project EDucate was born. This past June Cormac embarked on the solo journey and hit the finish line 43 days in New York City after completing 6,228KM, crossing 13 states and spending a total of 262 hours and 48 minutes in the saddle!
A huge thank you to Cormac for being such a great guest!
