An old woman sets out through the forest to visit her daughter. On the way, she meets a tiger and a fox but cleverly tricks them. With her daughter's help, she hides inside a pumpkin to return safely. In the end, the tiger and fox argue while the old woman escapes!

म्हातारी आपल्या लेकीला भेटायला जंगलातून जाते. वाटेत तिला वाघ आणि कोल्हा भेटतात, पण ती हुशारीने त्यांना फसवते. लेकीच्या मदतीने ती भोपळ्यात बसून परत येते. शेवटी वाघ-कोल्हा भांडत राहतात आणि म्हातारीचा जीव वाचतो !
तात्पर्य: संकट आल्यावर डोके शांत ठेवून विचार केला , म्हणजेच , अडचणीतसुद्धा धैर्य आणि चतुराई ठेवली, तर कोणतीही अडथळा पार करता येतो.
