About this listen
Riti represents the natural order — the laws of nature and the rhythms of life that we instinctively accept. Like a son growing apart from his mother as he grows, even though neither wishes it — a universal truth of growth and becoming whole.
Riwaz, on the other hand, symbolizes societal traditions — the artificial customs imposed by people that, while offering a sense of belonging and security, often distance us from our authentic, free selves.
These two — Riti and Rivaz — stand at opposite poles:
Riti understands change and accepts it gracefully, evolving with nature.
Riwaz clings rigidly to ritual, resisting change, seeing it only as a threat to order.
Yet, in the story, they fall in love — because at their core, both long to protect and guide humanity.
And between them, binding them and keeping them alive, is Prem (Love) — the original essence of human nature, eternal and unchanging.
