در این اپیزود، معلم با محوریت تحلیل فیلم «رنگ خدا» تلاش می‌کند از سطح روایت ظاهری عبور کرده و به خوانش تفسیری برسد؛ گوینده با معرفی مفهوم «فضای شکلی یا فرم» و «فضای بی‌شکل یا انتزاعی» ذهن، سه شخصیت اصلی فیلم—کودک نابینا، مادربزرگ و پدر—را بررسی می‌کند: کودک با وجود نابینایی، به‌واسطه‌ی حضور، مهربانی و الهام‌پذیری، ارتباطی زنده و خلاق با جهان دارد اما از زخم طردشدگی توسط پدر رنج می‌برد؛ مادربزرگ نماد پذیرش، نگاه اثباتی و زندگی‌بخش است که با کمترین فاصله از فضای بی‌شکل، نقش حامی و معنا‌دهنده را ایفا می‌کند؛ در مقابل، پدر با ذهنی معاملاتی، ترس‌محور و سلبی، در تلاش برای حذف مسئله به‌جای فهم آن، نه‌تنها به فرزند بلکه به خود و اطرافیانش آسیب می‌زند. جمع‌بندی این اپیزود دعوتی انتقادی است به بازاندیشی در ساختار ذهن خودمان: اینکه آیا می‌خواهیم ذهنی دریافتگر ( نقش کودک) و زندگی‌بخش ( نقش مادربزرگ) داشته باشیم یا ذهنی بسته، بده‌بستانی و فرساینده (نقش پدر) که ناخواسته برای خود و دیگران رنج تولید می‌کند
