About this listen
While scripture reveals the character and nature of God, prayer is the place where we go to form a
relationship with Him. It’s simply a conversation with the One we love. How can we develop a deep
relationship of prayer? On this episode we’ll explore some ways to approach prayer and some of the
questions and issues that affect our prayer.
Formats for Prayers
The ACTS method of Christian prayer:
ADORATION: Give God praise and honor for who He is as Lord over all.
CONFESSION: Honestly confess and repent of the sin in your life.
THANKSGIVING: Verbalize what you’re grateful for in your life and in the world around you.
SUPPLICATION: Pray for the needs of others and yourself.
