This episode, unusual for this series, makes no secret about the case being talked about. It is the murder of Bob Chappell on his yacht in January 2009 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

In late 2022, after 13 years in gaol, his partner Sue Neill-Fraser was paroled. She has always claimed that she had nothing to do with Bob's death.

Since 2012, so for a decade, there have been others who have taken up her cause. This has led to several books, documentaries, and a rare (and unsuccessful) second appeal against her conviction that was heard in 2021.

The evidence that upsets any confidence in her conviction is wide ranging and compelling. However, none of it has moved the State Government to do the obvious, namely to set up an independent Commission of Inquiry that can identify those at fault and call them to account. It is because such an Inquiry would have that result that there is no push for an Inquiry.

It is not only the Government that has been determined to leave all stones unturned. The police and the prosecutor's office have been active to ensure that nothing amiss is noticed by the community.

This is 'true crime' with a twist.
