About this listen

Welcome to the very first episode of "Raised Traditional," where we explore traditional living and celebrating the great outdoors. I’m your host, Madison Childers, and today we’re diving into "The Art of Hunting."

This episode is especially close to my heart, as I’ll be chatting with one of my dearest friends and an incredible hunter, Mary Kirkendoll.

I was introduced to the world of hunting at a young age. This profound experience shaped my understanding and appreciation of nature and the ethics surrounding hunting.

Our goal for this episode is to emphasize the importance of ethical and sustainable hunting practices. Today, we’ll cover practical techniques, discuss the ethics of hunting, and dive into sustainable practices to ensure future generations can enjoy this incredible tradition.

To all our listeners, I encourage you to share your own hunting experiences and how you plan to implement sustainable practices in your journey. If you’re looking for resources on ethical hunting and conservation, check out your state Fish and Game offerings and if you’re looking to get started in archery, reach out to local bow clubs or archery shops!

Thank you for joining us on this first episode of "Raised Traditional." Stay tuned for our next episode, where we’ll continue exploring what it means to live a traditional lifestyle and connect with the outdoors. Until then, happy hunting!
