The Tampa Bay Rays complete the sweep of the Seattle Mariners, winning 9-4. The Rays jumped on the Mariners early. Tampa Bay scored 4 runs in the first inning highlighted by a Josh Lowe RBI single. The Rays would continue to add on in the 2nd inning. They would score another 4 runs in the 2nd highlighted by a Junior Caminero RBI double to make it 8-0. The Rays would add another run in the 5th after a Brandon Lowe sac fly to make it 9-0. The Rays offense provided pressure all night. They would register 19 hits including Yandy Diaz going 5 for 5. Adrian Houser started for the Rays and was very good. He went 7 IP and was cruising till the 6th inning where he would give up 4 runs. But he would finish giving up just 4 hits and striking out 8. The Rays will look to continue their win streak tomorrow night vs Cleveland.
