In a first, Charlotte FC sweeps FC Cincinnati for 2025 with 1-0 away win back in MLS play, after both teams crash out of the Leagues Cup with an eerily similar record against the same Liga MX opponents. Both teams start evenly matched, but the tide turns when Cincinnati earns a repeat performance red card, Wilf Zaha scores a banger, and Kahlina looks his old self from last year.

Charlotte FC unites two wins, one at home against DC 2-1 and away in Atlanta 3-2, and wow, does it feel great to end a 9 point week! Despite some setbacks and chaos that have goals against the Crown, the queens feel like sometimes you just have to count your blessings, especially in the grind that is holding the match results through extra time. Of course, some of that win is thanks to all the fans, home and away, cheering on the team too!

In what is now same old, Charlotte loses again on the road to Sporting Kansas City (1-2) and Chicago (2-3) but at least manages two comeback goals. However, it’s just troubling at this point as it just doesn’t feel like the team as a collective wants to bring home wins or even draws.
