Its time to take a trip all around the world for this episode of Pushy Pushy! Hosts Mark and Nia Jermin ( from Agency Mark Jermin Management and Acting and Performing Arts School Mark Jermin are thrilled to catch up with Voice and Dialect Acting coach Sarah English, who has founded her own company Magpie Voice.

Sarah shares incredible knowledge of her “Process and Production” technique in approaching accent and dialect work and she applauds child actors for their fearless approach to giving sounds and accents a go without doubt, the fun and willingness to get it wrong helps actors progress quickly with the main “work” on learning a new dialect of accent being the Listening.

Sarah then chats about all the various accents she has worked on as Mark and Nia get tips and hints in perfecting their American, Scottish and even native Welsh Accents. It's a triple bill kind of episode at Pushy Pushy!

Hosts Mark and Nia Jermin ( from Agency Mark Jermin Management and Acting and Performing Arts School Mark Jermin caught up with a collection of fantastic guests at this year’s Actors Expo in London 2025.

Mark and Nia first up, serve an international starter with Chip (and the lovely Claudia!) from International Native Casting. IN Casting is a talent and casting agency based in Amsterdam. Chip chats about his company and offers some handy advice about buyouts.. kerching!

For our main course, we have UK Actor, Writer, and successful social media content creator Jonny Weldon! Jonny who has recently joined the Teaching Team at Mark Jermin chats about his career and how his brilliant sketches came to life during lockdown!!
