Detective Lila Reeves stood outside the locked room, her heart pounding. Inside, the lifeless body of millionaire businessman, Victor Grayson, lay sprawled on the floor. Lila traced the blackmailer's phone number and was shocked to discover that it belonged to none other than Olivia. Olivia had discovered Victor's affair with Emma and had decided to take revenge. She had orchestrated the entire plan, using Emma as a pawn.
The shattered glass found at the scene was the key to unlocking the mystery. Olivia had slipped the poison into Victor's drink and had shattered the glass to make it look like an accident. She had then planted the key in Victor's pocket and locked the door from the outside, using a spare key that she had hidden away.
With the case solved, Lila felt a sense of satisfaction wash over her. She had once again proven that no mystery was too complex for her brilliant mind to unravel.
