About this listen

Delve with me into a horror story written by yours truly. It is about a young man who has Schizophrenia and is unable to distinguish reality when he goes to a bar.

My inspiration stems from a psychology major I met in college who criticized a different short story I had written about multiple personality disorder, which was inaccurate. This story is not truly accurate to Schizophrenia, but I feel it does a better job compared to the trope.

In this episode we also talk about Schizophrenia and how it impacts the lives of people. In particular, we will talk about the unfortunate case of Bryan Charnley, an artist who experimented with his Schizophrenia medication.

Note: I will get better at tuning and editing my audio just give me some time to cook.

Information on Bryan Charnley's 17 portraits are available at the following link.
