About this listen
BIG IDEA: Christians should remember the importance of Palm Sunday.
*7 reasons Palm Sunday is important:
- Because it teaches us that Jesus knew beforehand the disappointment and rejection that was coming, but “went on ahead” anyway. (v.28)
- Because it teaches us we’ll always find things ‘just as Jesus has told us.’ (v.29-32)
- Because it teaches us that the claim of Jesus (as Lord) supersedes the rights of ownership. (v.33,34)
- Because it teaches us Jesus always has a reason for the things He does. (v.35)
- Because it teaches us we should recognize Jesus as our King. (v.36-38)
- Because it teaches us Jesus and those with Him will always face opposition. (v. 39,40)
- Because it teaches us the great tenderness and compassion of Jesus towards sinners. (v.41,42)
