About this listen
Our Place Nashville empowers adults with developmental disabilities by providing affordable housing, work that is meaningful, and inclusive communities in which to live. Isolation is a frequent problem for this group.
Executive Director Jordan Collins tells Anna about the non-profit, and explains that half of the residents are neurodivergent (“friends”) and the other half are neurotypical (“housemates”). The natural supports provided by this model allow all the residents to thrive. You can get more information about Our Place Nashville, find out how to get involved, or how to support them, at www.ourplacenashville.org
