San José, tú fuiste el árbol bendecido por Dios, no para dar fruto, sino para dar sombra; sombra de Jesús, que te llamó padre a quien te entregaste totalmente: tu vida, hecha de trabajo y silencio, me enseña a ser eficaz en todas las situaciones; enséñame, sobre todo, a esperar en la oscuridad, firme en la fe; Siete dolores y siete alegrías resumen tu existencia: fueron las alegrías de Cristo y de María, expresión de tu entrega sin límites.
