 Your favorite literary chaos agents Abby and Ronnie are back with our second fantasy draft episode, this time focusing on the Marked Ones of the Empyrean series! We're choosing Garrick, Bodhi, Imogen, Sloane, and Liam in categories that will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between.We kick things off with a heated debate about the proper condiments for french fries (mayo supremacy vs. sweet barbecue) before diving into our main event. First, we tackle the most onbvious question: who's the most powerful Marked One? Is it distance-wielding Garrick who can literally teleport across continents with his dragon, or nobility-born Bodhi with his signet-countering abilities and mysterious second signet? Our answers surprise you!Then we explore whose signet would be the absolute worst to accidentally wield in the bedroom (memory erasing, anyone?), and debate which of our beloved characters is most likely to die in the upcoming books (we're looking at you, reckless Bodhi). We analyze who would make the best wingman or wingwoman (Liam already executes this to a T), who would have your back in a back-alley fight (Imogen's "I will destroy you" energy vs. Garrick's human wall vibes), and who will play the biggest role in upcoming books.Our Precog Corner gets particularly juicy this week with two mind-blowing theories: First, could Fen Riorson actually be alive and held captive at Basgiath?
